Default I believe I'm headed back to Sardis next week

While this is certainly a nice place (Phase 3 in the Campground), and the folks are certainly just as nice as those I've met everywhere in MS, I just miss being up there. While I know I ain't gonna stack 'em in the lower lake, I still enjoy getting out on it in the Kayak, plus I want to try-out my redneck spider-rigging set-up. Should be back up there Monday afternoon.

I'm also wanting to get this freezer returned ASAP since it keeps me from getting my Scooter out, which blocks-up everything else in the trailer, and addition to that I may max-out (42 days) there (Sardis) and want to stock up on the way back there now that I can freeze things. It also seemed a bit more "central" to a lot of CDC Members, and I'm hoping to get the chance to meet a few more while I'm down here this winter.

Was great meeting/fishing with John, and have plans to fish with Donnie Friday, which I'm looking forward to. Looks like low 70's, clouds, 10mph winds, and little (20%) chance of rain, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't change (unless it's a little less wind). After that is looks like cooler temps and some rain is on the way, and I'd just as soon be moved and ready for that instead of moving in the middle of it.

So, hope to see some familiar faces once I get back, and just to be clear, you don't need to bring a boat to come by and visit.

    And that even includes feelay

Hate to see ya go but understand, lot more traffic up at Sardis. I good place to STOCK UP is very close to ya. Spains in Grenada is an awesome store to shop as far as groceries. Coming to town each morning if you need a ride instead of taking the bus into town, there is plenty of parking there for the bus and trailer tho.

John, that'd be great if it ain't out of the way, It'd help me out to catch a ride with ya'. Rather stay out of towns with the bus/trailer anyway, plus it'd be nice to have another visit before leaving. Sat/Sun would be great, just gimme a time and I'll be ready, matter of fact was just makin' my shopping list. If something happens where your plans change, don't worry about it.

    Thanks!

Trailer wheels on the yacht dropped off the end of the ramp at Sardis yesterday. Probably have to resort to using the little 18' boat until we get some decent rain.

Sounds like somebody needs to take you to the Tiki after filling your belly at Jake & Rips.

I like the food at the Tiki as well or better than Jake & Rips.
