    Default Boat lift anyone?

I need to lift my boat off of the trailer to do some work to it.
What's the best way? I need the boat handy for sizing.
I was thinking of a couple of A frame hoist.
I want to make my runners longer, so some welding will be needed there. Some longer fender runners too, some welding there too.

I'll be taking the floor out of the boat to add larger wire to the front. That 14 gauge wire to the trolling motor and fish finder is hurting.

Taint easy. And you will need a sling with a spreader bar to keep from crushing the sides. Careful careful. Easiest way is to take your tools with you to a marina or mechanic with the set up and do it there. Can't remember where you are but should be available in Jackson, Memphis, pick wick and possibly Sardis at performance.

Two motor hoists with tie down straps will work. Just lift it high enough to roll the trailer out from under it, and set it down on styrofoam, or leave it up till the work is done.

Easiest thing to do is unload it at Kdavids house, do what you need to do and go load it back up. Maybe a pivate lake closer to ya to do this, Bridgetown comes to mind if you know someone who lives on the lake. Tilt and trim will pick the back end up ifn you want to test out the tansom, if its solid it wont hurt nuttin and an engine hoist for the front.

I hate to do it but, drill holes in the frame and bolt the brackets on. If needed later weld the brackets. Then have the boat up in the air long enough to replace runners. Still looking for metal for brackets, 4 @ 1/4 x 3 x 14 1/2 inches. Haven't measured the other 2. I have 1 engine hoist, maybe borrow another. The tractor lift won't hold unless it's running, and no brakes.
Dang, it was pretty today, I should have been fishing.

I've used a sky hook in the past. Don't think it will work this time.
