    Default Blackstripe....

Caught my first blackstripe, but it is actually sort of a brown stripe.... And did not have the black crappie colors. It looked like a white crappie with a dark brown stripe down the back and on the bottom of the mouth and throat......Name: large photo.jpg

Not sure. Think he was around 13 inches. My son measured him against the ruler, and he was over 12...... He was the smallest fish we kept. Only caught one under 12 all day, but did not catch the numbers you had. I'm gonna have to start driving to the Skuna side of the lake, I guess........ Started to run over there, but was nervous about running back to Wolf Creek in the afternoon wind......

What are black crappie colors? Black crappie have the same colors as white. The pattern of the spots is different and number of dorsal spines is the only difference.
