    Default power question

ok i finally had a couple free minutes to take a look at my TM problem. I pulled out the multimeter n went to checkin. I found the pos wire from my battery to be completly coroded into inside the hull. I pulled on it and it came out. Luckily tbere was a 3rd wire from the console to the front n when i wired it all back up i was getting bout 37-38 volts by touching tge wire nds. Before i hooked it all up i wanted to see if the TM would come on. Nope it wouldnt. Heres to wierd part. I can put the leeds from the meter on.the wire ends n it reads 37 volts but as soon as i touch the wires from the TM to it t goes down to 5 volts. Whats up with that?

There's a lack of ground somewhere DD, loosing voltage under a load, check the black wire good too.

Hummmm. No idea where that could be at. All the wires are hooked up right n solid. Could it be the ground in the TM?

It could be, thats what it is I bet ya tho. Sometimes you just got to start over. Just because you are getting 36v where you wires connect to the TM dont mean that the wires back to the batts arent loosing juice under a load. 110 will do the exact same thing, had that prob when wiring the Bomb Barn.

Have you check all your wires from batt to batt, lot of connections there to cause a prob.

Don't mean this to be funny Don, put on a old long sleeve shirt and wrap the arms in Ductape or masking tape.
