    Default Proud Of The Astro

Fished as ruff a water that I am gonna fish today and the Astro held her own. Fished the middle of the hollar on the Scuna side of the lake in 15mph winds coming straight from the spillway house. Lady laid on the front deck with me and had the front livewell was full of water and feshes so the bounce werent too bad at all. Caught fish in water from 6 feet deep to 12 feet deep and fishing from 3 to 8 foot. Marked alot of stuff that will come in handy this winter.
Seen a guy trying to go in from above Torrence back to Grenada Landing only doing about 5 mph, had to be having trouble, at one point he stopped. Watched him to make sure he got out of site in and better water conditions than what it was where I was. He had one more long ride, should have pulled in there where I was and we could have gone and got his truck but oh well. Said a little prayer for him, hopefully he made it in safe.

You got that rite, no worries there "G". I learned a long time ago to respect the water and wind. Almost made the 2 mile run to go check on that fellar that was having trouble, just didnt think it was a good idea for either of us. Kept an eye on him and he got going again, altho slow. Called a buddy of mine with the COE and told him to get someone to check on things about dark, coulda got serious real quick today.
