Bear Bryant went to jail about 3 days after that 1980 game DD. He was at home and ask his wife what time is it and she said 6 to 3!!!!!!! He was arrested for domestic violence!!!!!:biggrin

Now what CAN happen in 2012? No idea but Bamer better watch out overlooking State. Saben said in his news conference a day or 2 ago that this State team was the best team he's played this year. We have a great Defense and Offense. We're balanced in run and the pass.

Last year, we played bamer close for 3 quaters. Think we were behind by a TD or so. Then our lack of depth cost us. We just didn't have enough bodies to hang. Have you noticed (doubt you have) that we're been playing ALOT of folks this year on O and D. 2nd string and 2rd string come in at all points of the game, not just mop duty at the end. They've been playing in every quarter to get them expierance just for a game like this one. Ya'll better be ready for a goodun cause we gonna bring it

Yep, but go back and look what Saban has done in these type games the last few years. Most all were BIG wins.
He knows how to get them up for the big games!
