    Default hardwood floors Expert opinions


    I'm refinishing mine and not sure what to finish it with. I'm sanding it down, then gonna stain it. Does it need a poly coat? If so, water or oil based? I don;t want to have to lightly sand between coats if I have to use more than one coat

    Def. water base if you poly., oil base will yellow where sunlight stays on it

    DD, i would , it will help keep down on wear spots that will cause to color to become uneven

    Cover with composit and fer get it,bout maint free.
