one on this Z71 I bought. Its all factory (no lift ) but wifey struggles a little to get in and out of it. Been looking but dont know which I like, been looking at the chrome tube type that goes all the way back on the cab. Figured that might be the type I need since its a 3 door. What you guys have on yours if you have one ?

i have the tube type on my f250. They are fine but when it is wet or icy you had better have your hand on the grab bar as you step up.

Yea Jig, dont want runnin boards, so I guess that dont leave to many choices, nerf bars seem to be the most popular.

I'v had both nerf bars and full running board's and prefer the boards. The reason being I'm on gravel road's alot and the full boards help protect my paint from rock pecks.

i got running boards on my truck and have not had a problem other than my son telling me they are not cool. nerf bars are cool, could be a age difference thing, I think........

I'm in the mud quite a bit. Nerf bars are soooo much easier to clean. But I agree that boards do deflect gravel.

I have nerf bars.....black ones.....I had the chrome ones on my other truck and like the black powder coat better. You can get any style at Weathers Auto Supply in Tupelo and they will install them while you wait. They have lots of goodies for trucks.
