Default Just got back from leeville

Louisianna. Fishing the marshes. Had fun but didn't catch the amount of keeper fish I had hoped for. But did learn a lot. Will be better prepared my second trip there.

Man o man, you ought to be right proud. You caught about everything sept a sheepshead that you can dine on.Nice looking reds, trout, flounder, and even a ray.Isn't it true if the rays are feeding so are other fish? And that stew laying on that table is just awesome! You did good in my book!Nice pics!

Back in Late 60's when i was stationed in south Texas they used to take them and had a punch and would puch rings of meat about the size of a nickle from the wings. Cooked them up like scallops and said they were just as good. I dont know since i cant eat any saltwater fish but i dont see why the wouldnt be good. Have also heard they cut the wings off one type and make shark fin soup oit of them.
