    Default Water for minnows

I'm wondering if these home water filtration devices will give you water that's safe for minnows. I've used the tablets that remove the chlorine from tap water, but there are units out there that sposed to remove the chlorine, too. Am I crazy?

I've been told by Jigflinger that the filtration systems for RVs can be had that remove the chlorine, but haven't looked into it yet. I'm sure it'd work though.

That'd be handy because you could put them on a hose to get the water where I need it.

Yeah, kinda what I was thinking, WB. Thanks.

DH- this week-end will be a good starting point for fishes in Bee. I may hit'em Saturday or Monday, myself. Time to drag out the minnow gear and get to work. Getting low on freezer fish. Come on over and join me.

I use aquarium Florine eliminated also. I just set up a 100 gal water trough a few days ago. I just filled with water and let it sit 24 hrs and chunked in some minnows and they doing fine.

I'm keeping minnows in two 55 gal. barrells. I use an RV filter that screws onto a garden hose. You can get them at wally world for less than $20. Been working fine for me.
