Didn't mention it in my previous post, but like GWDawg1, I also don't understand why some folks are hellbent on promoting "dumb rednecks from Mississippi" on this thread. There are enough negatives about our great state without us adding more!

I must agree with DD and Wannabe and Minnerman on this one. I dont jump on anyone when they ask a question I usually try to help if its within my range when someone ask a question. If I dont know anything about it like pulling cranks or longlining I dont reply because I dont do it. And for the most part I thing everyone on here is willing to help anyone asking for it. But as DD said its called having fun and thats what all this is about rite? If someone thinks that us spelling words in slang is for real then they need to check themselves at the door. No one on here is mean to the degree that some people think they are. Everyone is just trying to have a good time and some fun. Anyway thats just my 2 cents worth and my opinion take it or leave it. Hey Minner, WB, and all ya other gewbers, hope ya'll catch lots of feshes and also ya'll need to drank plenty of waters when yas out thar feshin in this hot wather.:biggrin

Haha, I'm cool with it now but when I first got on here I thought I had stepped back in time and into the hills but folks like minner make it an art form almost so I don't even notice it now.

As long as we are expressing our concerns over what we will never understand: ill never understand the need to promote MS outside its own borders. Do we really want to become Washington state by promoting low taxes to the people of California? Do we really want to become Florida by promoting retirement living to the people of New York? Therefore, I don't think we should be promoting dental care to the people of Missouri.

In some measure if seriousness. We is what we is. An those that need promotional efforts in an effort to "get it" never will and ain't welcome no how.

It's time like these when I'm reminded of what my Daddy said when he was invited to be a charter member of the local chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation. "Why the heck would oli want to do that? If I did, more people would start hunting my turkeys". No, instead what he did was take everyone that expressed an interest, especially kids and old folks. And when he's gotten his limit every year, he'd beg folks to let him call a bird up for them
