And you call me hard headed---I went through this getting my rods--got 6ea 14ft C and C for 280 bucks--done.
you know what you need to do--just quit fighting it:)
I have 4 that I was just getting ready to give to Goodwill. If you reimburse for the shipping you can have them.
My opinion is always factor in the cost.Pinnacles, pst's,c&c,and ozarks will all catch fish,it's what you can afford.I fish a mixture of rods from wally marshalls to pst's,it's really not that much different in any of them. One thing i will guarantee you is, none will help you catch anymore fish than the other. To me there only a few thing that will help you catch more fish, good line, good net and big minners.Everything else is for comfort.
The pole is only good as handler
Not too ruff, try to take care of it most of the times.
While your at it buy you two hd5.Then you can really fish with the big boys.Heck with the pinnacles that's what people that go to walmart use.It takes nothing but the best to catch crappie did you not know that.
Ain't broke a C & C yet. Over a year of swingin 14" butla , nader, and sardis fish in the boat. Got bunches of non fishin folks handling them all the time too. You can buy cheap stuff but that will cost more in the long run. Spend your money once.
i have been on the cover of crappie world, field and stream and buckmaster so what im about to tell you matters so make sure you got your ears on buy whatever you want and if you dont like what you bought then buy something else its your money
im also a prostaffer forgot to mention that
I fully understand that. Everyone has to set there own budget.
BUT, last month i watched the boy drop 7 long bed tens on a truck load of fishing equipment he didn't really need. Then tell me to keep the change. So I don't think it's a question of economics.
I say buy the best tool for the job. If you can't afford it, get by with what you have until you can.
Rees Guide,
Don't be ignert.. Get used to the PST's..... Lol
Actually, I think it does. You can you get along with a canepole and a rowboat. Better gear, no matter the sport, will improve your productivity. I have a cheap 25 year old bow that will lob an arrow in a big ole arc and kill a deer stone cold dead. If I were still bowhunting though, I would want a fast modern one to increase my range and accuracy. I used to play golf and sucked at it. Bought expensive hi tech clubs and still sucked but not as much.
Nothing but time and experience will make you a good fisherman but quality equipment will improve upon whatever skill level you are.
Hwy, ima gonna take up fer Rees a little bit. The ol boy jus wanted to know if anybody had some pinnacles fer sale. Thats all. He didn't want y'all to tell him he has whizz poor feshin skillz and better rods would help him be like feelay. Now y'all leave em alone. He'll figure it out.

There was a few key words there. If i did i would WANT....But time on water is the key
Thanks Feelay.
i have used the 8ft and 12 pinnacles and the 12 footers are good poles in my opinion, sold the 8fters cause they were too limber for my liking.but the 12fters i have used them trolling cranks ,longlining, spiderriging and they do pretty good.have owned band m ,wally marshall, and pinnacle rods and have broke two rods while fishing 1 b and m ,and 1 wallymarshall.will also say the pinnacles are used as backup rods at the moment, just cause their alittle heavier.
