Well was a pretty good day considering. Didn't get going til about noon. Was mostly doing some recording and looking for fish. Finally found some as I was heading to the house to eat and pick up Melissa (she thought she wanted to go fishing) So ate lunch and waited for my honey to do her thing and off we went. Got the rods out, started recording, and headed to the water depth I found em coming in--they was hopping and as far as the green carp--they are a pain--9 to 12 inches long and love to tangle your lines. Anyway I ended up catching 12 or so and 5 or so line tangling green carp. So was heading back to the house to drop of the little honey--dropped her of, pushed the boat off, fell in the water-sunk my legs halfway up my shin in grey nasty mud, got back in the boat, downloaded my recordings, and went home--had just about enough--but it was fun. Can't run the big motor out here so had to troll the boat on the trailer--dang near broke the thing on the trailer--like I said not bad for a trial run and it was fun--I hope I have some good stuff from the recordings to post but here are a few pics I got--loves those gnats for sure--yellow and black and red and green were the colors. Oh and all of the crappie were from 9 to 13 inches long-not bad I didn't think.
