Took My Granddaughters

To the SEMO District Fair last night. $120, two snow cones, four hamburgers, four drinks, a funnel cake, a corn dog, a slice of pizza, a deep fried Snickers Bar and two boxes of salt water taffy later, I escaped.

First we had to ride the ponys.
Marlie rode Flash and Aubrey rode Buster.

Then we walked past the National Guard guys. They couldn't resist hugging a cute soldier (Uncle Secret Weapon).

They can be expensive. They're worth it though!

Then we had to stop and talk to a cowboy named Shorty

The it was time to go check out some animals. (no, not the carnies running the rides. The other animals).
We had to pet some horses and cows but the bunnies were a big hit!!
