    Default Ozark Trolling Rod Review....

Got to use my new 14ft rods yesterday and I have found the perfect rod for my taste. They have a light action on the tip that is comparable to the Capps and Coleman's but still have the backbone equal to the PST. With the Ozarks I believe they are the best of both worlds and I am one happy camper with them. I got a set of 12 and if I'm ever around and anyone would like to try them out get a hold of me and I will gladly lone you 4 for a day to try.

It's one thing to slip off and fish during the week and post pic which makes you a low down dirty dog, but to rub it in with equipment reviews the next day makes you a low down dirty dog with mange.

Dont mean to hijack your thread but........speaking of Capps and Coleman, anyone else notice that in every spider rig video you see them in they are talking up the BGJP poles for spider rigging and not the C&C poles? Do they even use the C&C poles?

Again, sorry for the hijack. Its just something I have noticed and was wondering about.

In my opinion there's not that much difference in the BGJP's and the c&c's. I have 2 of each and fish em side by side. They both hang the same with the same rig on em. The BGJP may be a tad stiffer in the backbone area and the c&c's a tad stiffer in the tip area. The BGJP's are cheaper.
I have not used my ozark yet, but just the way it feels, I don't see much difference. I may do a comparative test Saturday.

Try and buy a tip for it and let us know how it goes.

I just called who I got my rods from and he told me he could have me some replacement tips next week if I needed them. Hopefully I won't break any but I don't think getting a replacement tip is a concern.
