Thank u all. Major, u don't know my dad...if I call an ambulance he will go ape s... I have tried to talk some sense into him, but he isn't listening. He seems to be acting ok now tho, n because he also hurt his back, he is gonna sleep on the recliner, n I'm stayin on the couch, n I told him I am gonna wake him every 30 minutes. Of course he is fussing about that as well, but if I can't drag him to the dr, I'll just drive him insane til he agrees. I'm taking him to get his glasses fixed in the am, n I'm thinking I'll just take him by his dr...yeah he will yell n scream at me, but at least he can get checked out.
N good point on the meds, I went n looked, n 2 of the meds have warnings about the sun. Hopefully all goes well tonite, n thank y'all so very much for the prayers.

Wow, i hate to hear about your dad, from previous posts you have made it is very obvious that you guys are close. It sounds as though he was very lucky that someone was around today and i hope and pray that luck holds out. It is very hard for someone who has been accustomed to doing what they want their entire lives to accept help, especially from their own children. I believe it's called the "powdered butt syndrome" once sombody has powdered your butt and raised you they don't take your advise on much of anything. I hope and pray that your dads problems today are quickly resolved and he is soon back to normal. until then watch him closely and do what your instincts tell you to do, remember it is always better to ask for forgiveness than permission

Prayers on the way......some good advice given but I understand you are trying to get him to agree. Hope he lets you get him checked out. Tell him at least then he can say "I told you so".
