I took flinger to butla this morning.... 5 hours, 10 keepers, 4 shorts, couple cats a drum and a gar. 5' water with minners and crappielogic gnats and RR's, black and yellow or purple/chartreuse.
We caught fish shallow early Sun morning at Nader, about noon it shut off and we moved out to main lake and found a ledge that dropped from 9 to 14 foot and it was loaded up. 22 keepers and whole lotta throwbacks. Double minnow rigs
I like readin ur reports and seein ur pics. I like some info the week a year I get to come down there. By lookin at the picture posts, i thought u guys had limits. What's the deal with the boat and truck beds full of fish?
hunter, multiple limits on the reservoirs are a very rare occurence. Most folks catch 8 to 20 keepers any given day of the year. There are times when you can catch 20, 30, 40 or more, but those days are short lived usually and can happen any month of the year.
And every lake is different. As close as the lake are,you would think fishing would be the same. But their not.
I'll see you guys at fall camp. ScottV and I will be fishin Grenada the week before.
