I need to correct something, I met Ted on a trip to Reelfoot and had a geat time and he introduced me to Jeff, He remembered that and let me know today, it has been awhile and a lot of water under the bridge since than, anyway just letting everyone know, Thanks, Ted for reminding me it has been awhile since we were at Reelfoot, we need to do it again!
oh--and I have met (although not in person) two people who live close to and know some of my family. That would be oldbigun and maachuu. I don't get to get over there that much and don't talk with oldbigun and maachuu often but it does somehow make me fell a bit closer to my family is a small way.
Being a lady that fishes alone or with her kids, my husband was quite leery of me "meeting" anyone in person from an online fishing sight.
The first person I actually met was Chief, from the NC boards. Met by chance on my home lake. He was as much a gentleman as I knew everyone on here was. He helped find a spot the kids could actually hook into a couple of nice fish. Later, at home, the kids talked about "that man" at the lake..... I had some 'SPLAININ' to do!
Now, the DH (dear husband) has been drug to cookouts and seen how wonderful everyone from crappie.com has been to me and the kids... including but not least Slab! My kids STILL wear their crappie.com t-shirts and ask about some of you characters!
I once mentioned to him that I was going to take off to SC and hunt down Rango to teach me more about night-stalking. He didn't flinch.. just said "you better come back smellin' fishy!" haha
Love you all!

I met crappieman101 (Tim) just prior to the Grenada trip in 2007 (I think it was). He and I hit it off immediately. At the shin-dig I met rip-a-lip (who spent most of that summer taking me to pull cranks at Sardis), speck (a real class act), Pstone (who invited me to fish with him in his boat in the first place), billbob (who allowed me to bunk with him in his camper and who I still can't get out of my nightmares), torch (who also took me out on Enid and we lost ALL of his poles over the side in rough weather), willsjwills, jimfish, Jwhite, and many many others. Please don't be offended if I left you off. That was a great weekend where few fish were caught, but a lot of great friends were made. Still hopin' to get back for one of those weekends some day!
