    To my oldest daughter. Helped me shell them, wife is about to blanch them and freeze them. Not bad, about 4 quarts I suppose. Now maybe for.Sunday dinner some cornbread with them and some fried pork chops and some of that creme corn we put up a while back.

    Nice!I know this is gonna sound wierd but, after you get those peas on your plate, just as a flavor test, take a small dab of mayonaise and put some on a small dab of peas and try them.I was raised doing this and my dad and his dad and who knows.You gotta have a open mind. It works on crowders, lima's,blackeye, Turnip greens, mustards.Can't tell you how many people I told that to, they said yuck, tried it and said it was pretty good!

    I was hopping to have some creme corn in the freezer. But I couldn't find any field corn for sale when it was ready. The store had sweet corn 5/$1 for a week. I got some of that for ears. The best I could find on craigslist was pick ur own 4/$1. But it was sweet too.

    Major I have to admit, wife got me some of that dukes mayo and it is just as good as blue plate, maybe even a little better.
