Yea i have used 5lbs of minnows several times and I sure dont want to run out when im fishing in a tournament. If im going somewhere to pre-fish for a week, I will usuall take about 20lbs with me and keep them at my hotel and get what I need out each day to fish with.
Dang. Just do what G3T does and have Minnertroller sit on the dang Coleman and save yourself 300 bucks. 'sides, that's mostly all a partner is good for anyhow....except in Triton's case, but not in except of April's case.
Wannabe...
See if I bait your hooks anymore
You guys have obviously missed the point. There is no doubt that Yeti makes a great cooler and they are expensive when compared to some others. But they are intended to be a status symbol and a great, expensive cooler.:biggrin Kinda like a Rolex. You can buy a watch from Walmart that keeps better time for less than $10 but that's not the point. These bad boys are for folks that have more money than sense. You can't hide money and this is just another way to show it.Rofl
i have a igloo, i decided to by tools instead of a fancy cooler cause i got to work on everything i own cause its all junk but i did buy a 570 di in february does that make me rich
I am a bachelor and I bought a 75 quart because I can.
We use it mostly for trips where we are going to be gone for a few days or we're going to need a lot of ice. Part of what makes these work is to eliminate a good amount of air space. Keeping that in mind, I would use a 45 more, but I bought this one for long trips and such. A 45 quart is next on the list.
When we get back from those trips, the cooler is usually still 2/3 or more full of ice, so I'll drag it over to the living room and use it as a beer cooler until the ice runs out. That can sometimes take a week inside.
Another great use for it is a second fridge during Thanksgiving and Christmas and such. A couple of frozen 2 liters and a defrosting turkey will keep the cooler plenty cool enough for casseroles and such. I guess it also makes the eyesore of a giant beer cooler in the middle of the living room bearable because she doesn't really get on to me about it.
The biggest drawback is the weight. Sucker is heavy.
