I WAS TOLD ONE TIME RUNNING ANY LECTRIC MOTOR LOW WAS AS BAD AS RUNNING IT WITH TO MUCH . I HOPE IT DIDN'T MESS WITH YOUR MOTOR .:dono
Check your other battery connections to be sure that they are clean and tight. If you have wing nuts...throw them away and replace with stainless steel nuts that you can tighten with a socket wrench or a wrench.
Hate to say it,that motor has been questionable since you got it.

Talk to MinnKota if you think its the motor.....they should fix it or replace it.

Just like anything else that is electrical not enough juice is just as bad as having too much juice when it comes to electric motors.
We recetly changed out our 3 tm batts on our Terrova and one batt was not hooked back up correctly and tm wasn't getting much juice at all. Shorty had to fix it out on the water while I listened to his long list of 4 letter words...LOL. Also if you only changed out that one batt...there could be a problem with one of the others causing new batt to go bad.
