Default What's going on with Enid and pulling cranbaits?

We were down at our place this past weekend and fished 5 hours Sunday morning, and we were pulling 8 crankbaits and caught about 25, but not a keeper in the bunch.

The last two years we have caught bunches of fish in the summer, and even catch a few keepers.

Anyone got any ideas, are the other lakes seeing the same thing?

We were fishing as shallow as 18 fow and then out in 28 or so water, and running from 80 to 130 foot of line out.

It was cloudy and maybe it was just a bad day?

Or I sure hope that was the problem.
    It's CRAPPIE season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you go again, try shallower early and then when deeper out, shorten up the lines. Never know where they gonna be

Every one does different but I never run more than 90 foot of line out and very seldom do I run any more than 60 or so. Fish we caught down south this weekend were in less than 12 feet of water and the longest line out was 45 with a 200 on it, caught a bunch just pulling 25 feet of line out.
