Mine did pretty good going in right behind trolling motor. I have the 60" shaft Terrova and EZ racks also.
On the 18' boats it gets crowded at the front with 14' rods and a 5' TM. Problem solved when I moved the TM to the other side.
Larry, if you are happy with the rod holder part of the setup, you could probably have a welder move that TM base to the other side.
As much money as you have already spent, I wouldn't let this or a trip to Jackson stop me from getting what I wanted.
A trip to Gene's is well worth the day it will take Larry, he will get you going. Keep in mind, he straightened WB out, a feet IS has been working on for a long while.
I mounted my TM straight with the boat instead of angled and its not in the way of anything. The extr lenght is good to have on windy days plus it makes it easier to get the TM back up to stow.

Welp, got back up and regroup, hoping the holders Gene is sending me will do the trick. Cant use the rod holders the way they are, went to load boat this morning after not catchin nuttion but stripes and catfish and because I was just a smidgen off (not perfectly straight) the front rod holder clipped the upright with the tail light on it, bent the rod rack section around but dont think it broke tail light. with that little of variance, I cant have them mounted the way I have with the current holder in place, no room for error when loading, ifn it aint perfectly straight goin on then it will hang on boat guides that stick out of water with tail lights on them. As I said, gonna try the different holders Gene is sending and see it that puts the holders back inside the boat. I do like where they are and I hope this works out but if not, I dont know where I will put them at this point

Yep....its always something....I spent a lot of time when I got my new boat last year rigging it and thinking things out, measureing, and mocking things up....after I was done, I only had to move one thing and that was because I decided that three rod rack stands would support my rods better than two so I had to move one stand to get my spacing right for the third stand. You cant ever get everything perfect but I feel like I got real close this time.
I just want it all functional, I mean I hate having to move something to be able to use something else. Just dont like doin that at all. Maybe these 2 rod holders Gene is sending will work out for me, I like where the rod holders are mounted just gotta make them work even when loading the boat :(
Yeh.....I don't like anything hanging out over the edge of the boat
