Hmmmm, you sure you don't have something else going on with it? We have a 500 pound bottle on a farm that we just use in a hunting cabin. That propanes been in there since 1968.Quote:

No Problem Major, just about any small 4 stroke gas engine can be converted to run off propane or natural gas with a simple kit. you can get a kit for either dual fuel (gasoline and LP or Natural gas) or a kit to run off straight propane or natural gas. Several companies sell these kits as do most propane supply stores. The reason I prefer propane is it stores forever unlike gasoline or diesel. Plus, if there is ever a BIG disaster ie earthquake, flood, alien invasion, ect that disrupts natural gas delivery and gasoline supplies, you can still function as long as you have propane. Thanks for the link but it's still Greek to me. I have a Troy Built 8500 with a Briggs & Stratton, I'll just have to hire the conversion out but it makes sense to do it because of the reasons mentioned, especially the availability of gas in an emergency/natural disaster situation.
