    Default Happy Independence Day everyone.

I am thankful today for my freedom that comes first from Almighty God. Also I am grateful for the men and women of our armed services who have served and died to keep this country free for over 200 years now. The men of the Revolutionary war started the most powerful and free nation that the world has ever seen. It was interesting to me today while reading about the Stamp act of 1765 that helped get the ball rolling.

The fight ain't over yet. We have to keep it free for our future generations that will never be taught about the struggles that have allowed us to enjoy these freedoms.

Agreed...... Which is why after 6 years as a soldier, and 15 years as a professional firefighter, I went back to college and now teach U.S. History to High School and Jr. College students. Plenty of people are telling the story, we just have to make sure it is the true and accurate story that our students are learning!
