    What did yall decide aboit adding oil to the diesel fuel when filling up.

    There was some talk about adding 2 stroke oil to your tank when filling up with diesel, think Big H was gonna look into it with his mechanic.

    I have never owned a diesel, but don't think I would if it was under waranty......

    Lot of people put automatic trans fluid in at every fill-up. Diesel fuel is DRY these days days, not much oil in it at all.

    Mine way past any warranty, 96 model with 270k on it, hope to get another 200 k out if it

    Filter some used motor oil and add it. Clean it up some more.

    BW, I like your cap, looks like me with the skido's.

    don't do that,you can't filter out enough of the carbon residue. On the newer engines the tolerances on pumps and injectors are to tight and that slight bit of carbon will ruin them. Marvel Mystery oil, power steering fluid, outboard oil works well. Which ever you can find cheaper. For pickups about 6 oz to the tank.
