Steve I had the same problem one year,no taste. My Dad said I had used to much lime.
Cray, the Angel Wings nursery there on 178 Byhalia had them this year. She ran an ad in craigslist for free plants. I bought a tray of mixed plants and a few pots and got a free tray of mixed tomato plants.
The Sweet 100's are suppose to the sweetest about 1" dia. Mine aren't, might find one about 3/8" and have a good tomato taste. The cherry and grape tomatoes are sweeter.
try the goliath original, been planting them for years. you won't be disappointed.
AR Travelers are the saltiest high acid tomato that ive found. All I plant is Travelers and Better Boys.
I raise my own plants and I found another good one, Mr. Jim. It's an old tomatoe from the depression era known as "Mortgage Lifter". It's a tart tomato, but still sweet. Right now they're loaded up and still blooming.
