Gator, we are growing burpless cukes and those things grow big and FAST. Watching everything else growing in the garden seems to be at a normal pace and the cukes are making almost daily. It's unreal how big they'll grow in such a short time.

Butch where do you get the burpless seeds, I have been trying local seeds for the last couple of years with little luck, they are bitter. Ordered some from Burpees and started 2 late vines after pulling up the 3 vines I had planted earlier, don't know how they will do planted this late but we love them in salads.

Steve, they had the plants at the feed and seed store here locally. I guess there's a pretty good demand for the burpless cukes here so they have then every year. The plants are around $.69 ea. I think.

She was very proud... She planted it, watered it, fertilized it and picked it..
    And I'm proud of her!
