Well if you do buy a diesel I have 2 pieces of advice and they are the best advice you will ever get.
1. Get an extended warrantee
2. Always add 1oz of 2 stroke oil per gallon of diesel to your tank.

Never heard the 2 stroke oil deal but do add additive to mine couple times a month.

It ya don't trust it do some searching online and you will trust it and once you try it you will never buy any other additive again runs smoother quieter and increased fuel mileage.

Funny thing. When I took my weedeater to hernando equip. to get a new carb put on it they showed me some stuff that I should usein the gas for it (it's in an orange qt bottle I think) and we got to talking and they said they put in in ALL their two stroke stuff and even their diesel pickups--hmmm
