Pretty much any caliber rifle that is of legal size to hunt deer with, ain't beat all to heck an back and less than a year old is worth that. (Semi-auto or Bolt action and some single shots). Gun alone or scoped. And if an individual is selling it, that makes it worth more to me to not have the paperwork.

Even some of the .22 caliber rifles are worth that.

I have two of them, 270 and 30.06. Both BDL's These are my favorite rifles. Well built and great shooters. I got the .06 for Christmas when I was 16 from my Dad. One of my best Christmas presents ever! Killed more deer with it than anything else... Love that gun!

I like my .06 a lot better than my 270. But I thought if I ever went out west I would like to have the 270...
