    Default My conclusion

Ok couple weeks ago I asked about the difference in hivis and clear line.I fish 8 rods off the front, changed 4 to clear and others were hi vis.The first trip was pretty equal on catches. But that was the only time, the clear out fished the hi vis 2 to 1.Another thing I noticed was when the bite was slow, clear line caught more everytime.I'm gonna keep testing, gonna try some clear water this weekend.I'll let yall know.Oyeah this was 6 trips.

kinda like the Ford and Chevy thing.....its just what you like and get used to. I like the hi-vis been using it for years
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

All my poles have Hi-Viz, We went bluegill fishing in a clear water strip mine,so I put on a 2ft. clear leader but my partner didnt. Needless to say I caught all the gills. but this lake is soo clear you could see down 10 ft.

I use hi-vis but pre-tie my double hook rigs with clear to get the benefits of both types.

All of my rods have high vis on em, but all of my minner or jig rigs are made with clear 8# or smaller.

This past weekend we fished Lake Tuscaloosa, which is a very clear lake. I'm talkin see your jig or minner 6-8' down. We had some rigs tied with 4# and still couldn't get em to bite. We backed off and threw jigs to em and won the tourney. My rod and my sons had 4# clear on it and my brother had 8# clear and we both caught more than he did. I think the small clear line and the fact we backed off the fish, help out a bunch.
