Got there at sunrise, and tried slow trolling jigs tipped with minnows for 2@1/2 hours with no bites. I finally broke out the jig pole with a single Crappielogic jig in pink,chautruse,&black. I like that... Good idea... They might want yer input on that... The times I've used them, one of the things I didn't like was the way the curve back in. Hung up on the rod.

yeah, i had the same problem especially when someone who wasn't used to them was fishing with me. The only advantage the curve gives that i can see is to cup your rod if you are trolling cranks. I don't play with cranks so i didn't need the curve. i also ground the teat off of the washer in-between the holder and the rack itself. this allows each holder to turn left or right instead of locking them in place
