Sardis Charity Tournament 6/2/12

The NWSCC of Harmontown charity tournament will be held on June second this year. This charity raises money to purchase Christmas presents for underprividledged kids that wouldn't receive Christmas presents otherwise. Several of us have participated in this event for the past couple of years and it's a lot of fun. If you look at the month of October in the MS version of the c.com calendar those pictures of Bigger and Munta where taken at this event last year. First place is $500, second $300 and third $100 plus a separate pot for big fish. Normally there are 50 - 60 boats in this tournament so Big Fish can add up to a nice chunk of change. All of the fish weighed in will be used in the fish fry that night. I have a PDF of the rules and entry form but can't make it small enough to attach and upload on this site. The rules are basically like ours but they weigh in 10 fish instead of 7, everyone must launch from the Teckville ramp, the entry fee is $50 plus $10 big fish. The dinner and live music make this a worth while event in addition to supporting a deserving organization. I'll work on making the PDF smaller and post it up as soon as I can.
