Crappie hotspot

Anybody ever buy these from ricky.. I did last year, and been using on my handheld.. I downloaded easy gps and hummingbird pc..... Dont have a clue how to format the card for my 798. I didnt have the 798 when i bought the cards from ricky.... Do i just put the card in? Can anyone help with any aditional information?

Should work if you just put the card in the unit.

Seems like i remember him saying that the 798 wouldnt hold all the wayponts... Sardis, enid, grenada north and south.. They are all on one card he sold me

Yeah, you have to use hb pc program to select which ones you want to upload. I can't help ya with that, sorry.

Copy the card to your pc and then select the ones you want. Drag them to the card your going to use in HB.

Do u have to do anything special when u insert card in 798.. Or does it just automatically read it

I was told if ya try to copy the card, it will self erase it.

Automatic, reads it when inserted.
