15th Annual Fishing Rodeo

The City of Southaven will host its 15th Annual Fishing Rodeo, Saturday, May 19th from 8:00 am to 11:00 am at Saucier Park (located on the south side City Hall). Age group divisions are 4-6 years, 7-9 years, and 10-12 years. Prizes and trophies will be awarded in these divisions. It’s free admission with free popcorn and cokes, so bring your fishing gear, bait, hats, and lawn chairs and join in the fun!! You may pre-register at Southaven City Hall or the Parks Dept. located at Bancorp South Sports Center, 3335 Pine Tar Alley. For further information, you may call 662-890-PARK.

Nah this thread ain't no good! Gator you said Fishing Rodeo aint that against the rules, riding and roping poor little fish?

Glad to see that there is something to get kids into fishing. Aint anything more fun than going to a farm pond with a can of worms and a pole. Even at my age I still enjoy it!
