It is bad.
Bet it will be 208.xxx by the end of the month. is 209.61 right now:( That's about 8 inches since last Saturday lost.
It's a sad situation all the way around!! We deinately need rain and lots off it, but if they don't close the gates the rain isn't going to do anygood!!
The gates are closed as much as they are gonna get except for when the are working on the spillway. The way I understand it they have to let some out to keep the natural flow of the river.
yeah 50cfs for butla and 100cfs on Sardis is closed--which does not the water issue that much worse. We just need the RAIN but heck looking at the forecast I wouldn't doubt we get to 207 or lower.
These kinda times are when we are blessed to have 2 major rivers feeding Grenada. Evaporation and wind play a tole as well, COE estimates that in the summer time Grenada looses .1 a day due to evaporation.
wish we coulda kept the rain we got in march and april--the lake would be below summer pool but would be in better shape water wise-but it is what it is--all in the weather.
