Y'all mull this over and see what ya think.

Why not have regional tourneys. Me or Ch68 could host one on Columbus, DD and or Triton and or Maj could host one on Barnett, WB or G3T could host Nader, torch could host one on Washington or Whittington, Maachuu could host one on Pickwick, ScottV on Okatibbee, somebody on Sardis, Enid and Butla and eagle an chotard or any other lake somebody would be willing to host one. Let the host be responsible for getting permits and so forth and setting times and work out dates so they do not conflict with other tourneys. Then hold a classic in Grenada, which is centrally located, in the fall. This would possibly get participation up and also keep folks from driving from one end of the state to the other. Anybody could fesh any of em, but would hafta fish at least one or two to be able to fish the classic. Then possibly charge $75 or a $100 to fish the classic, to make it a big deal. This would also eliminate just a few people of being over the whole shooting match and having to deal with everything.

This is just a thought. I know there was mention on the main board about a north ms club and some interest was generated and I know several folks didn't go to Ross Barnett because of the drive and like wise Butla and y'all won't even consider coming over here to Columbus or Pickwick.

I don't know. It seems the Jackson area boys do more than their share of the work, but don't get their share of the tournaments. I've thought about a North and South division, with a combined championship. But you can fish both if you want. Then you got them NE Ms boys with Pickwick, Bay Springs, and Columbus and they aren't getting any tournaments. If you keep on you're gonna be driving all over the state. If you want to drive all over the state, then go fish MCC.

Well, I would be willing to do my part on Columbus or Aberdeen or Aliceville or all three combined like Crappiemasters and CUSA does and would be willin to participate in an okotibbe or Pickwick tourney. And could even get scales for this side of the world. I'm sure there are others that would do the same. Sure, it might take away from some of the tourneys, but heck the numbers are already down. This is just a thought.
