Went driving around Fort Worth today and stopped in a gun shop. Found a nice S&W M&P AR-15 with a collapsable stock. It was only $650 plus there was a sales tax holiday this week so that was the out the door price!!! Figured I would buy myself a birthday present and told them to wrap it up. Turns out, they cant sell to anyone from out of state. Well out of most states at least! He produced a list and sure enough, MO isnt on the list!!!! Guess I'll have to keep shopping after I get back home. (BTW, MS was one of the few states on the list they can sell to,)

He pulled a book out from under the counter. There were only about 6 states listed whose residents were allowed to purchase firearms in TX. Must be some kind of interstate compact agreement.

Do you have a gun guy at home?? If you do get him to ship it to your guy, pay for the gun and the shipping. Have bought a couple out of Texas on gunbrokers that way.

Didnt know that, rare guns are easier this way if you can deal with someone with good feed back, in this case you have seen the gun. Good luck whatever you decide, I want to shoot it ifn you get it.
