Why?? The only reason I know of to have one is if you are getting your motor out of the water far enuff that the water pump aint doing what it should.

Larry, on your boat this shouldnt ever be an issue really. Trim gauge is really more for a boat that is reaching or above peak on power for the hull and you need to not trim it too high. If you want one get one but I bet when the new wears off you will never look at it.
As far as install you can handle it, not alot to it.

If ya want to put something on there of real value and significance put a water pressure gauge on there. Then if you trim up to high while running as my Ranger will do, you will see the pressure go down and also if the pump quits working this will let ya know.

you hit the nail on the head, that is my concern of coming to far out of the water, but just how hard are those to install ?? I aint no mechanic as much as some of these guys but can do just enough to get me to the point that I have to call someone in to straighten out my mess![]()
Just a line back to the motor hooked to a T in your water lkine on the motor, DD can do it. (with a little duc tape)
