I drained all the gas out and filled with new gas and drained fuel bowls and sprayed down full of carb cleaner and added stable treatment. All last week after doing all that it would run good with water hose. Thought it would be ok. I think I might run a strong dose of seafoam through it before having the carbs reworked. It's a 99 model 50 hp merc with 3 carbs.Quote:

Thanks G I'll try it. Heck when your low on funds You will try anything to save money. It cost 17 dollars for me and 2 others to launch and fish 3 hours at the trace. Funny how when I was able to work I didn't have time to fish. Now I have more time to fish but can't afford it.
I have a $102.00 yearly pass for me and the boat, when my brother went with me the ranger made him pay $7.00 more. I had always thought it was $5.00 for additional persons. He said they had been misinterpreting the fees and the state was trying to crack down on the fees, but there is a $152.00 yearly pass that covers you and all in the boat. If you plan on fishing in the state lakes very much the yearly pass pays for itself in no time.

Thanks guys. I just checked on yearly pass and for disabled it cost 72.00 for launch and 1 person or 120.00 for everyone in the boat. Since I can only go when my son can carry me it will pay for itself because I'll have to fish close to home until my son gets used to pulling the boat. Sunday was his first time and he didn't hit nothing. Haha!
