Above Hwy 43

Feeshrman and I hit the lakes and slews above 43 yesterday morning for bluegill. Fished till about 11 till the traffic got real heavy. Had a blast. Caught 45 nice gills and then hit the deep fryer and coors light.

Man I tell ya Rees we had about 2 dozen oysters that we fried for appetizers then these blue gills it was fine. I love crappie but man the taste of the gills just cant be beat. We gonna go back and get some mo of these lol.

Oh and by the way Rees its just about time for the gills to get rite at Kemper. Gonna have to hit them in next week or so. They got some gudduns down ther and they bed in about 8 to 10 foot of water. Talk about pullin like a Mac truck.
