After reading some of the benefits of using braid by some of the guys on this board who's opinion I respect I decided to give braid a try. What I found was that once you get it wet it tends to stick to the pole making it almost impossible to use 1/4 ounce minnow rigs. The 1/2 ounce weights weren't as bad but if you tried to shake the line loose then it made matters worse by getting tangled on the rod tip. I tried it on a couple outings with the same results so I ended up cutting the whole mess off and going back to my 10# Hi-vis Vicious.
You're also assuming we all are unethical enough to throw our used line in the water. Most on here wouldn't do that, but yahoos, come on dude.
