Hey it looks the same. But mine is black. I'll have to condition it after I cook and clean it. First cooking is Mother's day. 30 family members are to be here for crappie, fries, onion rings, hushpuppies and extras. Who else is showing up?

That'll work great! Tlow has the best one I ever used. A commercial frymaster mounted on a trailer. Has a thermostat, set your temp and it cycles on and off automatically.

Ifn ya gonna have a nice cooker like that, ya need one of these. Heck, even if ya ain't got one of them fancy cookers, ya oughta get ya a tater cutter. My kids want home fries only since I got this one. It's is very well built and easy to clean.

It's the cats meow DD. just wash em and then two seconds you got a handful of fries that are mostly the same size. I normally just use the medium sized taters in the bags, but it'll cut the bigger bakin taters as well. Whats good is ifn you can find the gold taters. Man them dudes are fine.

Bet they are minner. I get the Idaho taters and cut em, then let them sit in water for a few hours, changing it every hour or so. I fry em at about 250-275 til their tender. Then I'll drain on on paper towels and let em sit til I'm ready for dinner. Then BACK into the grease that's at 375 to crisp em up. Talk about good. Maybe coat in flour and add some Tony's on em just before I refry em. Got season fries then
