Default help please, need an opinion on a spider rig set-up..................

my friend just bought this boat, and he came up with a unique way to spider rig. the bar is welded to the middle of the pedestal, and has 4 holders. i've never seen one like that, and it seems like a good idea. he has them on both front and back seats. what ya'll think?

Wont they move every time he moves the seat? Looks like a sit still and fish only situation.

I hope his rods are the right level from the water. Gonna be hard to bend that bar stock.

Looks like titelock rod holders which twist side to side and up and down on the bar. Would be easy to set at the right height.

Wrong, there is absolutely no vertical adjustment to those. I would toss em in the lake for structure.

You're right, I zoomed in on em. I would have used the base that moved up and down.
