What's the best buffing/polishing product to get past this ugly oxidized crap? Or do I need to sand it, no idea where to start

TOO MANY IDIOTS TO FEW BULLETS
Most times a good auto wax with electric buffer will do the job.
Boys, I laid eyes on this craft today, and without knockin the boys boat, auto wax and polish ain't gonna do the trick here. It's a good lookin boat, but I'm my opinion, it's gonna take some abrasion and a fresh coat to bring her back to life. I'm thinkin a wet sandin with some scotch Brite.
If I'm gonna end up sanding and all that, I may paint the whole booger white. Heck I got half the boat broke down now and the front casting deck carpet free, kinda wanna try and fix the cracks too if there's a way...
