    I have a lot of baits that have taken on water. ie don't float. Is their a way to reseal them or toss them
    [SIGPIC]Drake Waterfowl Prostaff, Dakota Decoys Prostaff,F&F Boats, Mercury Marine, Rig Em Right, Crappie Logic Jigs, Slab Bandits, Hayes Calls, and Kick's Choke Tubes.

    They sure don't need to sink. I think I would try to seal them.

    Someone that pushes could use em if you decide to toss em, with the weights on em they sink anyway.

    Lay them out in the sun and to let the inside dry out good. Try sealing the seam where the two crankbait halves are put together with some clear finger nail polish and see if that works.

    You can take Devcon 2ton epoxy and paint them and that will seal them off again. Dicknite make as coating that some use to seal baits after painting that works good but it is a little pricey. Basically, you can use a epoxy (2 part) to reseal them. I use the 30 minute Devcon 2ton epoxy myself to seal baits once I paint them

    I have some real good 3m 2 part epoxy I will tray that.

    If they aren't the kind that rattle after they dry out inside shoot a little of the exspanding foam sealer in them.

    If you are going to seal with epoxy any way just drill a tiny hole in bottom and drain. Like G said just lay out in sun and they will dry out. Used to have to do that on carp baits.
