    Default Clicking Transducers

My rear transducer has always made a clicking noise. Did some googling and they say its normal and a sign of a healthy transducer. They also say that it doesn't bother the fish. Well last weekend at Sardis, my US2 started doing it. Loud too. If I can hear it that friggen loud with it 2 feet under the water, how can they say that a fish doesn't notice it especially if your in 4 foot of water? Thoughts? Anybody else this lucky with your ducers?

The clicking sound you hear is what bounces of objects and gives you a reading. But you should not hear it when ducer is in the water. Have that checked out.

Um, so who do you suggest I get to check them out? Ones built into my terova so should I send them the whole terova. The other is attached to the boat. Wait, the terova is attached to the boat too. Maybe I could just send them my whole boat. Ok. Who do I send it to? Pfffffffffftttttttttttt

Mine started the same thing last weekend but I think it's only bc I was fishing shallow water. Try it in some deeper water and see if it still does it. I haven't been in any deep water given Butla is soooooo low.

I'll bet it's very varying output according to water conditions. That's why loud sometimes and sometimes not. Then again you are not paying me for this advice so I might be lying just for sport.
