    Default The Butla 4-07-2012

Went to Hurricane creek on foot only to find that it had moved to the spillway.I caught a few dinks, no keepers. I left there about 2:00. took a ride to the North Abutment to find a loaded ramp area, people on the bank, people picnicing, kids wading!! It was a very nice day! Bluebird skies didn't help fishing much! I guess on weekend the WEEKEND CRAPPIE ARMADA comes out to play. Even with all you folks at Spring Camp, the lake was full of spiderers, pushers, pullers,yo yo ers,you name it! THE SPILLWAY WAS FULL OF FOLKS!!All the fish had to go into hiding for sure! Didn't see a whole lot being caught! I posted a few pics of the BUTLA TUNDRA!Time to move to the main lake. Anybody on here ever see that pile of bricks that are skattered out on the north end of the lake just east of Hurricane Creek?

I like the way you have your cart rigged. Now, if DonDon could only figure out a way to make it float,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Hard to imagine that 8-9 fow of water will turn all of that to a honey hole.

I had heard from a few people the reason it's so low is because of the construction being done on the bridge and road over the emergency spillway back to 304 hwy.no chance flood waters will effect it's completion!
