Good luck with it Zack.
Back when they were putting the Skeeter name on them they replaced 2 hulls for a guy I know. Both split right down the middle of the bottom. Hope everything works out we'll for you.
I'm no expert, but I believe most boat manufacturers require that you return the boat to the factory. If that is the case you can probably have a welder repair it cheaper than buying the gas to transport it.
All I had to do was take mine to a dealer. They handled it from there. It did take a little while for them to get the new back to me but I had my dads to fish out of. It was well worth the wait.......
Thanks fellas... Yeah I took it by a dealer yesterday and they took some pics and said they would contact G3. They said they would let me know in a couple days what they are going to do. I will keep yall posted. I hope they get her back going soon. I got fish to catch! haha..
Sounds to me like G3 has a problem..... Should of bought a Excel, or Express for my good friend Bill at Big River Marine..... Just saying, I've been is some really rough water, hit stumps, even hit the boat ramp (my fault) and no problems wit broken welds.
This damage was not caused by stumps or "HARD WATER". This was caused while trailering the boat. Bumper on winch stand bumping up on the bottom on rough roads. Believe me. I've fixed countless boats with this problem. The rubber roller is a bad idea. Weight of the bow resting on the roller instead of trailer
