    Default enid report for sunday............

sorry, no pics, fish still on ice.........we caught 80+ crappie, but only kept 10. (we did not catch anything even close to a world record). in my humble opinion, it will be a cold day in _____ before a world record crappie is caught at enid..............it is so frustrating to go through 30 short for each keeper. the wind was BRUTAL.

My bet is that lightenin CAN strike again at Enid......or any of the COE lakes. They're awesome. Those short fish will be keepers this fall....my favorite time to fish for them.

I so agree with you on the 11 1/2 inchers. We caught so many last year, we thought for sure this year would be better, but so far no such luck. My father-in-law caught 137 the other day to get 20 keepers!

lol, sw, its been like that since they put in the 12 inch limit.......years and years......we always say wait til next year, but next year never comes.....always 11 1/2-11 7/8 fish, lol. i dont know why that is, one game warden told me yesterday that by june-july these fish will be legal, and the majority of them will be caught by trollers, leaving the little fish behind, and the pattern to repeat year after year.
